Missing Safari icon from iphone dock

Find it (it's in there somewhere, it cannot be deleted) and just drag it back onto the dock. Look through your screens, see if it's been slipped into a folder. If you have to, reset the home screen in settings.

Mine went missing because I had changed Safari to Restricted in error. To fix it go to Settings>General> scroll down to Restrictions>turn on Safari. Anything you turn off will seem to disappear from your iPhone.

Just adding this as I searched for a long time to find this solution. None of the other solutions worked for me. It might help someone else looking through this general topic like I was - Safari icon missing.
