My Magic Mouse is not moving as in when i move the mouse the pointer is not moving at all. The Left and Right clicks are working but not the tracking. I tried switch on and off the iMac and also tried switch on and off the mouse but its still not working.
Computer is an iMac 21.5" 3.06Ghz 2010 model supplied with the Magic Mouse and OS X Snow Leopard.

First, replace the batteries.
If that does not help, reset the PRAM and SMC.

I tried replacing the batteries and also tried it on my MBA and it pairs, the clicks work , scrolling works but the mouse cursor doesn't move.
I took it to Apple store and they replaced it with a brand new magic mouse.
Problem solved🙂

Having the same problem: Cursor doesn¨t move, clicking works...
my first magic mouse died a few months out of warranty so i have to buy a new one.
Now my second magic mouse is experiencing the same exact problem. there must be some production issues involved. this is frustrating since the magic mouse is expensive.
My MM just went bust again . Unfortunately for me Im out of warranty. This is already my 4th MM. I posted here this same thread about a year ago. I forgot my username i have to change my handle.
Stay out and dont buy these expensive magic mouse guys. It will stop working after a year.
