Hi
I have an iPad device in DFU mode and iTunes on restore process fails and show error 1600.
I just try reinstall all the software but the device continues without response.

It looks like an iTunes problem according to this link. Read this.

If you uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes continue reading through to code 1602, 1604 , etc.
I just try this help page but the results are always the same iTunes error.
Also I use 3 different PCs (2 Mac and 1 PC) and I have "black screen" iPad.

FIXED! I've tried all suggestions... I've fixed the prob using the Belkin USB black cable for iPad.
Try switching to another usb port! this should fix 1600 itunes error.
I am having the same issue! I need help with this. The OP said they used an aftermarket cable. Surely this isn't the fix?
