How can I connect my iPod to the iPad?

i don't want to put music on the iPad, I want connect my iPod to the iPad. I need to buy an adaptor? How can I connect the iPod to the iPad? The iPad deosnt have a USB dock

You can't connect the two except for one exception. If you have a very recent Touch with a camera, you might be able to connect the two using the Camera Connection Kit but only for the purposes of transferring photos. This works with the iPhone so I'm assuming it will also work for the Touch w/camera but have not verified it.


You say you're not trying to add music to the iPad. Then what are you trying to accomplish by connecting the two? If you give more details, perhaps someone can help you find an alternative.
