Can someone explain to me this please?
While I was trying to learn more about how to super slow motion in FCP 7, I was faced with people talking about
shot 1000fps / 2000fps ? what does that mean?Am I stupid or what? Ok,I just work with video production since 2010 but cameras
shooting 1000fps/2000fps?

The title say: 7D 1000fps , but in the description 720p 60fps

When you see "fps" it means Frames Per Second. So 1000fps would be 1000 frames per second. Normal video frame rates in the NTSC world is 29.97fps and 25fps in PAL countries but there can be many variations.

You might be thinking of Casio, none of the Canons (to my knowledge) shoot 1000fps - fun toy @ $400

In FCP X, this is apparently from a Canon 5D, simulating 1,000fps.
To get 1000fps or 2000fps you need a After Effects plug-in called Twixtor.
A friend of mine shot all those slo mo hummingbirds you see all over pbs with a phantom. Really a very spiffy camera.
Yes, it has brought the speed at which client checks arrive to video production.

Thanks, JB, I have apparently misunderstood how a friend of mine got his super slow motion, thought his crew were shooting Canons. I'm a Nikon guy--clueless about all other DSLRs.
