airport express <--> MacBook lose connection every few days

Hi folks,

Funny behavior. Every few days, my MacBook Pro (10.6.8) won't connect to my home wireless network despite the network being listed as available to choose. It connects automatically just fine for the several days beforehand, but then all of a sudden it asks for the network password (which it already has) and won't connect when I type that password in anyway. Ditto for my iPhone and iPod Touch, they won't connect to the network. Only thing that fixes problem is to unplug the Apple Airport Express even for a few moments, then plug it back in, and when it comes back to life, everything works fine again.

I've tried changing settings for the base station, and for a while I thought that made it behave well for a few weeks at a time, but I'm not even sure that is true, as it still goes back to occasionally not working again as described above. And again, unplug-replug of the Airport Express does the trick every time.

Any ideas? This is sorta annoying.
