Is 2GB of dedicated GDDR5 video memory necessary for editing video and fx work? I'm looking to upgrade and wanted to know if the optional extra gig of video memory on the 3.4 i7 Imac would make much of a difference with programs like FCP, Color, Motion, AE, PS, and Premier. I'm not a gamer so I'm interested to see if it would have a noticeable effect.
