I've bought a song and it won't download. The error says "There was an error downloading you purchased pusic. The network cannot be reached." I'm on the internet and as far as I know my firewall allows iTunes traffic. It's worked before, why not now?
Hello..I'm having the same problem. I bought a couple tunes from Itunes Store. They appear in my purchases but will not download. I keep getting error message 403. I've already tried to turn off my McAfee to no avail. Let me know if you get your problem resolved. I need help. The tunes are there to view, but they are "grayed out" due to the fact they did not download.
McAfee is what I run.. I've tried to disable it and then download but I'm still having problems. I will most definitely try your advice about the 403 error. THANKS.
My problem is kind of the same, but i can't even login on iTunes with the account that i CAN use in Apple store. Immediately after i push enter it says
[i]iTunes cannot make a connection with Music Store. Check if the connection is working and try again The internet is working so i dont know what to do!
Can anybody help me?!?!?!?!
I've got the same problem. I downloaded the latest version of iTunes and now I'm getting an error message "The Music Store could not process your request, please try again later." It's been 24hrs later and still nothing. I'm running iTunes on three different computers and I'm getting the same message. I've gone through the entire trouble shooting list and still nothing. I've tried lowering all my Firewalls and still nothing. Hmmm... Maybe everyone is still to busy at MacWorld to work on this right now!!! lol

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I tried my Internet Security settings in allowing everything from iTunes but...still no luck. Anything else I can try?
Thanks

No dice...plus I had to redo my startup list all over again...that was a good thing though cause everything loads quicker now. Thanks for making me do that I've been putting that off for a while now.
What is this all about?
phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/storeFront
I pasted it into the address bar and nothing happens?

If you are having problems downloading the music and its giving you a 403 error and you are using McAfee's privacy service, put these sites in your allow list:
I bought 360 songs from Apple Store on library, hooked ipod with over 1730 songs orginal 1730 missing, but purchase last night in library did not load, just to library with owner's ipod connected? How do you unload a library with songs not on IPOD? NO error messages!!!
