I had quite a few fun ringtones on my old Blackberry but when I synced my new iphone they didn't sync. How can I transfer them?

In order to transfer the ringtones to your iPhone, the ringtones must be in your iTunes library and in an iPhone compatible format.
Is there a way I can convert them into a compatible format?
There are a number of 3rd party utilities that provide for this, which can also be done manually with iTunes if the BB ringtones are available in your iTunes library and don't include DRM protection. If you have a Mac running Snow Leopard, there is at least one app available via Apple's App Store that provides for this but the sound files must be in your iTunes library and not include DRM protection.
