I just had a problem and had to reinstall Snow Leopard, so I am back to OSX 10.6.3. Do I have to do all the incremental updates to get to 10.6.8, or can I just used the OSX 10.6.8 Update Combo and do it in one fell swoop?

Better, IMO, is to run Software Update to get any other missing pieces not included in the COMBO, and which should be a delta version tailored for you machine and setup.
Thanks everyone! I did a combinations of things. I read somewhere else about running 10.6.6 Combo first, then was just going to download the 10.6.8 one tonight and saw the suggestion to run the Software Update, which I did. It showed me the 10.6.8 Combo Update plus a Java update. I appreciated everyone's help. Thanks again.
for me 10.6.6 is better because windows7-64bit dvd wont read in 10.6.8
