How do I burn a DVD into a folder on my hard drive?

Do you want to create a DVD with the contents of a folder, or copy the contents of an existing DVD to a folder?

If it's a commercial, copy-protected video DVD, you can't legally do that, and it would be against the terms of use of this site to discuss the matter further.
