iPod screen doesn't sense touch

We went camping for 10 days. Before we left I left my iPod in my room, shut off and away from sunlight. When we came back I tried to type and noticed that the bottom row of letters would not work. I thought if I cleaned the screen and leave it on over night it might work when I woke up, to see if the battery needed to warm up.. But in the morning it keep doing the same thing.. How do I fix my Ipod?? It's a 4th generation and I'v only had it since Dec. 25th 2010..

My brother also has the same kind of iPod, His is just a few weeks older than mine.. He also kept his in his room and shut off but his isnt acting like this.. HELP ME PLEASE!!

iPod touch, Windows 7

Try the standard fixes in order:

- Reset:

Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home

button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

- Restore the iPod from backup via itunes

- Restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod.

If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store or call AppleCare.
