How can I browse my files that are on our corporate server from my iPad? I have successfully set up a VPN connection to the server, but cannot see any file, contrary to the browsing I can do form my Mac's finder. Any special software needed? Tks
iPad, iOS 4.3.3
The iPad, as with any iOS device, does not have a standard file structure and so cannot natively view servers or other network services. So you do indeed need third-party software. FileBrowser and iExplorer HD are a couple of possibilities often mentioned.
