Hi

"Sidechain" is the magic word.

First, you'll have to configure an audio track to record your voice, and...

second, you'll have to configure a software instrument track and use the EVOC20 Plugin.

Now, open the EVOC20 plugin window. on the upper right there is a small sidechain selection dropdown. Select your audio track where you are recording your voice (you could use any audio track, like AUX channels, too, if you want to route audio around). Switch the Vocoder to voc+syn mode (not only syn, but voc).

Now, trigger any MIDI note for the Vocoder while speaking into your MIC (have the audio track armed for record along with the Vocoder software track! Else it won't work).

You could also use a pre recorded audio. Then, for the vocoder to work, Logic has to be in playback mode so the audio file is fed into the sidechain of the vocoder.
