I have an OSX desktop Mac. I used to have a dell and could cut and paste an image into an email and right click on my mouse to resize it. I can't do it. Safari is my browser and I use AOL mail. How can I do this again? Thanks to anyone that can answer.

Thanks Stedman I, I will try everything tomorrow. I am tired. I really appreciate your help.

You must be a computer buff. I just got this Mac several months ago and sometimes I wish I bought a dell. Time will tell. I am also trying to figure out why I just can't take a pic out of Iphoto (like a chair) that i took on my camera and download it into Craigslist when I want to sell something. I don't know how to paste this picture on to my desktop..it does not work...then when I go into the ad I can paste it. This computer drives me nuts.

The book I have does not help...so thank you. I have to go back to the Apple store in our town.

You're welcome. Actually, I'm quite new to the world of Mac, and now just use a windows based computer because I have to at work. Stick with it, it is definitely worth it. 🙂

It is also quite easy to export a photo to be used for Craigslist, or whatever you wish. Simply select the photo in iPhoto, then click the File menu in the top bar and choose "Export". You can then change settings to set size of photo as well as several other parameters, and save it to the desktop or a folder for easy access.

Drop back any time with questions. There are some very knowledgeable folks in the iPhoto forum.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with AOL Mail - in Apple Mail you can just click and drag an image (from Safari or iPhoto or wherever) into an open Mail message, and there is a Resize button (Large, Medium, or Small).
