I found the problem in Keychain Access under PrivateEncryptedDatak (read only). It is impossible to remove/delete. Any ideas?

The full line of code in Console is listed as

"WebProcess(225) deny file-read-data /Users/txxx/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/com.adobe.amp.4875E02D9FB21EE389F73B8D1702B320485DF8CE.1/ PrivateEncryptedDatak"

Well, you've helped me to half solve the problem. I had previously traced the issue to Adobe Air which is used by the Eye-Fi control Center. Deleting the PrivateEncryptedDatak file and uninstalling Adobe Air solved the issue, but I couldn't use the Eye-Fi CC, which I rarely need anyway. Once i read your update, I went to the keychain and saw the same PrivateEncryptedDatak, but it had no icon and was empty. I also was unable ot delete it. So I went to ~/Library/Keychains and deleted login.keychain.sb-MUNgZa (not sure if yours will be named the same) which was the only one that didn't make sense and was 0 KB in size. That removed the PrivateEncryptedDatak keychain. Then I reinstalled Adobe Air, checked that Eye-Fi CC would work (had to login to it again). Opened up osme Flash-content bearing web pages and got all those errors again. Then I tried modifying the PrivateEncryptedDatak keychain (which requires a password, which is no password, just blank) to allow all applications access to Adobe.aps, but that still didn't fix the issue.

So I re-deleted that keychain and I just won't use the Eye-Fi CC. If I really need to, then I'll just have to delete that keychain each time. Until this gets fixed anyway...

Hi All

It's very simple. Dont go to the Keychains folder or the Application support folder and try to delete anything. This is more harmful than useful.

Use Cmd-Spacebar in finder to bring up spotlight and search out Keychain Access. Open this.

On the left hand side it lists the keychain types: Login, System, System roots. It will also list one or more PrivateEncryptedData items that will appear with a locked symbol. Ctrl or Right click each of these and select Delete Keychain "[name]" from the context menu. If it asks for a password leave it blank and hit Return.

Once they're all gone that's the last you will see of those pesky messages.

This issue was vexing me too, and no amount of repairing the keychain (or deleting these entries) would make it go away. Everytime I'd launch any Adobe AIR app, the problem would immediately return.

And I believe it was caused a huge speed slowdown, extra heat and overactive fan action on my mid-2010 MacBook Pro (2.66 Ghz Intel Core i7 with 8 GB of RAM, otherwise clean install of OS X 10.7.)

Anyway, I came across this post with a purported hack to fix it:

I'm not keen to try this just yet... but would be curious to hear details if anyone else gives it a go. In the meantime I have just uninstalled Adobe AIR and will anxiously await the release of OS X 10.7.2.

Good to know! I will keep watching this space. Thanks for taking the plunge, asamoal!

I also note that Adobe AIR 3 is out, officially released today:

I know we've been told this was specifically classified as an Apple bug, but I am now wondering if perhaps AIR 3 will work around it? I am going to install it tonight and see... can always just uninstall again if those Console errors return.

I assume the people posting after me didn't read my post about how I solved it?

so i'm posting again.

• I uninstalled Air.

• I opened keychain assistant found PrivateEncryptedDatak entry. it showed as locked.

• So I unlocked the system keychain to see what would happen.

• PrivateEncryptedDatak vanished on it's own.

Problem solved?

I don't recall at the moment reinstalling Air, but I just ran an Air app and these 2 apps are in my Untilities folder again so I must have.

Adobe AIR Application Installer.app

Adobe AIR Uninstaller.app

Just looked in the console and didn't see any messages from sdandboxd.

I think it depends on which AIR app you've tried to run. It has to be one that involves saving something (like a password) in the keychain. Try an app like NYTimes Reader, Zinio, or Pandora One. THEN see if the PrivateEncryptedDatak keychain is back, and if those millions of Console errors start appearing again...

It appears to me that today's update of Mac OS X 10.7.2 has fixed this issue.

I had been using the hack/patch mentioned here:

https://plus.google.com/104149041030409334838/posts/j1ptVE6qfsg

But I removed it prior to upgrading to 10.7.2, and then I rebooted, and did a bunch of websurfing, opening up Adobe AIR apps, and checking out the keychain. (For what it's worth I also upgraded this week to Adobe Air 3.)

Now when I go check, I am not seeing any of those millions of "WebProcess(225) deny file-read-data" errors when I check in the Console.app.
