No wifi and Bluetooth is Unavailable on my Ipod 3rd Gen 32GB touch.

After a forced reset there is "No wifi and Bluetooth is Unavailable" on my Ipod 3rd Gen 32GB touch. The areas are grayed out and do not toggle or present any option to change the settings. I also reset my Router to see if that was connected to my problem. I have other devices that are working fine on the network.

I have now done the factory reset and restore twice with no results.

Everything else on the ipod seems to still work fine, but without the internet the device is not nearly so attractive!

Is it repairable? Or is this an excuse to buy something else?
