How do I open an Apple Hard Disk 80SC?

How do I correctly open cover of Hard Disk 80SC? I work in a research institute storing personal data. For security/privacy concerns of old data, I need to remove disk, preferable without destroying cover. There are no visible screws but there is one small slot in the front and two smaller slots on either side. We are all into repurposing here and someone wants to use the box to elevate their monitor, which is why we don't want to destroy the case to remove the disk. Can anyone help?
