Lexmark Printer and MacBook Pro cannot communicate.
Cannot get lexmark X4550 to communicate with printer. First message was that it could not read the CUPS data so I removed all files from library etc, emptied trash and reinstalled drivers downloaded from lexmark website. But it is still not printing. This time the message in the job info is blank. Any offers of advice? Are there known issues with HP photosmart as have one of those and I'm thinking I'll just use that instead?
MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.7)
