I have downloaded the Pandora App but can't hear it at all even with headphones.

Forgive what may be a dumb question on my part, but do you have the sound level turned up in your iPad by using the volume switch on the side of the iPad? Pandora doesn't have its own sound level control; it uses the iPad's volume control.

I did try that after I remembered that I had it turned all the way down at the office but it didn't seem to make any difference. Now for some reason when I turned it on it is working fine. I admit to having very little patience but I would have thought it would have played immediately once I was logged in and showed that music was playing. We'll see tomorrow. Thanks for your help. Any suggestions as to why when I am on Skype that I can see and hear who I am speaking to but they can't hear me?
Sorry, I have no experience with Skype.
With Skype, what will happen is that because if you have the ipad 1 you wont have a camera, but they should be able to hear you. What i usually do when an app fails, is i reinstall it, but otherwise i simply Restore my iPad |(which can be a bit of a pain) especially if you have a lot of stuff on it, but anyway, thats what i always do..😉
