I am not familiar with a bookshelf view in any version iPhoto - are you speaking of the iPhone perhaps? If so ask in the iPhone forum

Larry, the newest version of iPhoto, which is part of the iLife triad, uses as one of it's selling points in the on-line ad, that you can view all print projects on a bookshelf, similar to that in iBooks. I can find nothing, however, on how to get that to happen. Perhaps someone will enlighten us! Thanks for your response anyway!
Do you have a link? I have not noticed that

I do not have a link, but when browsing the promotional material in iLife for photos, noticed that there is a "project view", which will display the covers of photo books, cards, and calendars on a shelf for easy viewing. Perhaps it is not available yet, as there is no discussion anywhere I can find on how to make that happen.
That's a feature that Apple sort of hid in the full screen mode. While in either the Events, Faces or Places mode click on the full screen button. Once the full screen is established the Projects button will appear at the bottom of the window.
If you're in an Album in full screen and click on the All Albums button the Projects button will appear at the bottom.

WOW...thank you Old Toad!! Works like a charm, and would not have tried to do the "full screen" thing without the help! My photo books look very good on their shelf! ;o)
