Ical can´t save the event "event name" to the exchange server

I had the same problem, and I solved this "malfunction" getting rid off the time zone support in iCal, yes I uncheck the option of Time Zone Support (Preferences-Advanced), and it works. My OS is 10.7.4 and iCal connects to a MS Exchange 2007 account.

I tryed that, the problem is that my user has every event with time zones, also when someone sends him an invitation, a time zone is present and an error occurs....

I prayed so this will be solved and I saw that Apple realeased the 10.8.1 update..... with Fixes for Microsoft Exchange, I crossed my fingers..... and thats a no no...... no fix... 😟

Hey guys, same problem here. For what I saw the problem resides in how the CDT for Mexico was implemented in Mac OSX and in Windor. Apparently the info going into the Exchange server sends the data for the Mexico CDT with a code that Exchange does not recognize as with other time zones. Therefore there's no way to workaround this. The only solution is to use another time zone, but beware of the DST time changes. Apple or Microchot should be fixing this on either side in order to have it working....

For now I wish us good luck...
