Is there a way to edit my contact list without doing so one at a time?

I sync my iphone with Outlook which I inturn sync with Google Apps. I am not sure why but my contacts list has multiple entries for the same contact on my iPhone. Is there a simpler way of editing out these extras without doing so one at a time on the iPhone? Please feel free to email me at wilymike1954@att.net. Thanks!
