Can you put PC software on an iPad?

No, only apps (programs) downloaded from the iTunes App Store on your computer, or the App Store app on your iPad, can be installed on the iPad - 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) programs are not compatible with the iPad (iOS).

Splashtop remote desktop is probably the most popular. You control you computer (mac or pc) from your iPad, anything you can do on your pc is possible through your iPad.
