How to edit launchpad

Does anyone know how to edit non apple apps out of launch pad???

You can go to your launchpad, drag the icon/s onto the bar with all your stuff on it (located bottom or side of screen) to make a copy of the icon. Right-click (two finger) the icon on your bar and select Options then Show In Finder. A screen will pop up that displays the original icon. Highlight and drag icon from folder into Trash. The you can delete it from there and it's gone off of your Launchpad.

Anyhow, here’s what you do to clear out those pesky apps in your Launchpad. Load up Terminal (

/Applications/Utilities/Terminal.app
) and type in the following:

sqlite3 ~/Library/Application\ Support/Dock/*.db 'DELETE FROM apps;' && killall Dock

Voila. Your Launchpad should now be empty. You can drag apps in normally by dropping them into the Launchpad icon in your dock
