MacBook Pro??

On the installation compatibility page, the App Store lists desktops and servers as being compatible with OS X v10.7 (Lion). Can Lion also be installed on a MacBook Pro? Other than it not being a desktop or server, it meets the other physical and technical requirements.

Thx!!

Yes, provided it's one with a Core 2 Duo (Note the 2) - Do an about this Mac and see what your processor is.

Right -- back up.... always. Especially as I'm seeing issues others are having after updating.

I do have yet another question though; is this "Cloud Computing"? Or is it a full install? If Cloud, I doubt I'll upgrade any sooner than absolutely required. Here in Belgium, where I currently reside, I pay for a certain amount of bandwidth. If I exceed that bandwidth, I'll pay a "penalty". If this OS won't actually reside on the computer and will be making constant "calls" for data, code, etc, I don't think I can use it. Plus, this would also mean that unless I have access to a wi-fi connection, the computer wouldn't run at all.....

I've done just a bit of searching for data on how the upgraded OS is supposed to work but found very little information.....

Any and all insight will be welcomed!!

Thanks,

KM
