Right-Left script/Arabic punctuation

Hi,

Mail among other MAC OSX application have this annoying tendency to not convert the punctuation marks into the right direction when typing from right-left in languages like Hebrew or Arabic. Is there anyway to fix this without having to switch modes constantly or "pre-empt" a phrase/words with a comma, exclamation, or question mark? Particularly, on mail but also text edit. Also, I would love to know if anyone has found a way to get Arabic script to work with the Word Student Edition for the MAC. Thanks for any help!

See if any of the info in this FAQ or the sites it provides can help:

You might need to try different Mail or Word Processors to get the best results.

As mentioned when you asked before in another thread, no version of Word for OS X, Student or otherwise, can do Arabic. Just look at the Help. The Arabic keyboard is not listed.
