WARNING: Some NAS devices will be unconnectable to due an 'outdated server' message

I currently own a Western Digital MyWorld Edition and, after installing Lion, went to mount the sharepoints I normally use. Then this came up:

My advice to all those weary NAS users, Apple has changed the way AFP works and manufactures of NAS devices that use AFP may need to issue a firmware update to address this issue. My advice would be to contact your NAS' manufacturer and request an update on 'OS X Lion Support'.

This is also a dismal case to be in if you have Time Machine backups or iTunes Media stored on the server.
