Was screen zoom removed from OS X Lion?
In Snow Leopard you could hold control, and swipe two fingers up to zoom in on a part of the screen. Where did this go? Was it completely removed??
Macbook Pro Unibody (Late 2008), Mac OS X (10.5.6)

I see it in the touchpad preferences still, but its not enabled for me possibly on account that i disabled it in snow leopard. But i can still mar the check box and pinch zoom.
Ctrl and 2 fingers works perfectly for me.
On a iMac and MBA it works but it doesn't on my MBP??
How to fix reset?
had the same problem, but after the restart, zooming (ctrl+scroll) has started working
Settings->Universal Access->Seeing->Zoom: Options->Use scroll wheel with modifier keys to zoom.
You need to give the model of your MBP!!!! Older ones can't do gestures, newer ones can. No crystal ball here.
Yeah, where did my ctrl+two-finger-zoom go to??
I've activated the Settings->Universal Access->Seeing->Zoom: Options->Use scroll wheel with modifier keys to zoom
I've tried changing the modifier key
I've looked for it in Touchpad settings, enabled/disabled pinch to zoom
Whole bunch of other stuff.
It just doesn't work anymore.
Had lots of other intermittent gesture trouble too.
Lion gestures is bugged as ****
And, why does a window (for example Lion) need focus in order for pinch to zoom to work, and scrolling doesn't?
Cant get it working with an iMac and Magic Mouse... I actually use this all the time. Bummer. Will try a few things and see if I cant get it working. This worked fine with my Developer preview install..
OK so I had the issue of no zoom after the upgrade - the issue for me was zoom was NOT enabled in here - Universal Access->Seeing ( you don't need to go in to options, just enable zoom while at the seeing window)
Ctrl was already the hotkey - zoom had just been disabled during the upgrade....
It now comes back after a restart. Hope I don't have to restart everytime it quits!
I now have to restart every hour or so to get this feature back running ;-(
to zoom screen in lion:
command>option>unsqueeze for zoom....squeeze for unzoom
to be more clear:
command>option> unpinch for zoom....pinch for unzoom
What if you are using the older Mighty Mouse?
if it supports pinching it should work.
magic trackpad is really necessary to make use of all the lion gestures.....
