Here's a temporary fix:
Here's the LaCie page for Lion compatibility: http://www.lacie.com/us/more/?id=10121
Seems like the Network Space 2 (which I own myself) isn't supported...yet.
Let's just hope that they issue a firmware update soon!!!
me too - I can access the drive using guest or admin login to the openshare - but none of my named users are able to authenticate and get to their TimeMachine backups.
I think I will soon get rid of this device and replace is with a Pegasus R6 12TB direct attached - and get a MacMini Server on my Gigbit network to also access the space on that drive. not sure yet if I would plug the Pegasus into the server - or directly into my MacBook Pro - would love to have the full native speed on the notebook - but maybe better to have the full native speed on the server.
Got the same issue. Open Share works but none of the login requiring disks work. Including Time Machine. Got to remember to copy my iLibraries with one of the SL macs from my share to open before updating the rest of my macs to Lion.
My update form the device's own support screen failed a number of times - so I downloaded directly from the web - if you registered your device you can log on to LaCie's website and it will take you to your product and then to the download page. I also updated the LaCie Network Assistant whiel I was there.

after reboot of the deivce I am able to authenticate and connect to the user shares and see the time machine sparsebundle - but Time Machine (so far is NOT able to "find" the backup drive.
I rebooted the drive again - and now the blue light is slow steady flashing about once a second - like a diagnostic code - or something - not link activity - and cannot see it anymore from the web console or the network assistant - wonder how long I should let it pulse before restarting (or finding what that pulsing means in the user guide).
Many (perhaps most) 3rd-party NASs need software updates to work with Lion.
Contact LaCie.
In the mean time, try a (Command-K) from the finder.
me too, it's a shame
Same issue here
The good news is that I was able to access MyShare files from the browser
I sent a support email to Lacie.
Let's see what they are going to tell me
Me to, I can access open share on my Network Space 2 w/o any issues, no access to private shares with my time macehine backup. Sending email to Lacie.
Dear all, thanks for your help.
I just did an update ! it works well now !
Best, soussky.

Could you please share with all of us what exactly did you update that it is now working?
