I have a Cisco Router and an HP e printer. All of my WIFi connections were excellent except the one from my computer. It could not "find" my wireless printer or it would be "offline" etc. and not print. HP helped me by setting up a "new HP network" which my Mac devices now recognize. You can do this yourself easily on any wireless capable Mac computer.

So now, when I want to print an item from my computer, ipad2 or iphone wirelessly, I have to change my Network setting on that device to the new HP network.

When I'm not printing I check my personal WiFI connection to use the internet etc. It works for now. Good Luck!
