CAC not showing in Keychain

Was wondering if anyone knows why my CAC (common access card) will no longer show up in my keychain, and hopefully how I could get it to read my card again. I have checked my system and it is still reading that my CAC reader is plugged in. It was working in snow leopard and is needed to sign into AKO (army knowledge online). Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I had the same problem and many other folks have been talking about this (http://militarycac.com/lionnocac.htm).

I was able to take CAC-NG-v0.95 from macosforge.org and extract CACNG.tokend from the installation package using a freeware program called Pacifist. After placing it in /System/Library/Security/tokend/ everything worked just fine. I was able to get onto AKO/DKO and now into my USMC webmail. It looks to me that CDSA was left intact for legacy support. I could do some more testing, let me know if you would like some more info. I hate to see people go out and buy PKcard if its not necessary.

Regards,

John
