I tend to have a lot of Safari windows opn, and what finally solved it for me was installing AdBlock: no problems since!

I do online marketing so its helpful for me to see the ads and whatnot....

Apr 14, 2016 9:28 AM in response to dconstruktby nbevan,AdBlock has filters to determine which ads are acceptable. You can use existing whitelists or specify your own acceptable urls. You can also pause AdBlock.

PS For anybody who doesn't know how to get to Library, when you're in your Finder, hold down "option" and then pull down the Go menu above. Library is hidden unless you do this.
