Upgraded to iTunes 10.4. Now my logitech MX1100 will not control iTunes anymore. Updated SetPoint. Did not fix. Any Ideas?

I have the same issue...I have the Logitech K800

what works for me is go into Logitech Keyboard and Mouse settings.

Click keyboard tab, click "F" tab, click select F Key "media player"

on the drop down "select media player" choose itunes version

You should be good...

Having the same issue. The commands now only work when I'm inside of iTunes, within my library opposed to before when I could play/pause regardless of what program I'm in.

Same problem here, with a Logitech MX Revolution. I checked iTunes 10.5 beta 3 and it doesn't work either. I hope Apple or Logitech fix this soon, because I use this a lot.

Same over here, since i upgraded to 10.4 ITunes version i can't do the keys of 'play,forward and back' very frustrating because now i need to change to Itunes each time i want another song...

I hope that Logitech or Itunes this fix because i use this feature alot, and i think also many people of us do it the same

Having the same problem with the play and skip commands on my keyboard. Would like to see this fixed quickly, since I like to use iTunes to lsiten to music while playing games, and I can't be tabing out of a game every so often just to skip songs.

Yep, seems to be a general issue.

Keyboard can still read information (title, duration etc), but no longer control iTunes.

also my Windows 7 Aero is not working properly, when ever i open iTunes my Aero settings resets to windows 7 basic. does anyone else have this problem aswell?

I have the same problem with my logitech keyboard, don't know which model it is, but the multimedia buttons no longer control iTunes as of version 10.4.

Please fix this Apple or Logitech!

Same issue, can no longer control Prev, Next or Play/Pause from my Logitech MX5500 mouse or keyboard using the media keys.

I have an MX5500 and am having the same probs. I went into the logitech dashboard and made my media center button activate itunes, so now at least when I need to play/pause, all I have to do it press the media center button, then play/pause...

It's not ideal, but it's quicker than having to mouse over to itunes!

Same here for G15 keyboard and iTunes 10.4 (no unfocused play control). It also no longer recognized my iphone4 when plugged in.

I just now rolled back to iTunes 10.3 and everything is working like it should again.

So, Stevebo77, can you tell me how I roll it back to iTunes 10.3?

Uninstall iTunes 10.4

Grab old version of iTunes (http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php or wherever else you can grab old versions ).

Restore your previous 'iTunes Library.itl' file (http://technicallyeasy.net/2009/03/restoring-a-previous-version-of-your-itunes-l ibrary/), because older version won't load if newer version of this file exists.

Install the older version of iTunes and all should be aces again.

Same issue. Hopefully they gonna solve it soon, so I dont need to restore to the older version...
