Feb 25, 2012 2:04 PM in response to Nockerby Michael Kovacs,Well, for now, I can say that wi-fi, on my iMac, has been connected after waking twice from sleep. Hopefully, this most recent update has remedied the problem, and most of us can move on. If it continues, however, I will be sure to further voice my disappointment here on this forum. With almost 200,000 views, and almost 1,500 replies, I hope that Apple sees that such problematic issues can be just as problematic for them as the user. Anyhow, hope everyone has good luck with the new update, and also does not hesitate to continue voicing their experiences here.

Feb 25, 2012 2:25 PM in response to Michael Kovacsby Mignition,I have an 27″ iMac Mid 2011 with every update and a first generation Time Capsule and the problem still exists. Wi-Fi constantly loses the internet connection. AirTunes still works but the internet is gone for several seconds. The Wi-Fi update made it actually worse.

Feb 25, 2012 3:13 PM in response to lhaleby WifiDropper,The update says that it fixes the "waking from sleep" wifi problem as quoted below ...... and not "wifi random drop" problem which seems to be another matter altogether ? My iMAC has gone to sleep many many times today and has woken to connect to wifi every time.
"About iMac Wi-Fi Update v1.0
This update resolves an issue that may cause an iMac to not automatically connect to a known Wi-Fi network after waking from sleep.
It is recommended for all iMac (Late 2009 or newer) users running 10.7.3."

Feb 25, 2012 3:18 PM in response to WifiDropperby Mignition,They could be related. I didn’t have the waking from sleep problem but the random drop problem. After the update my internet connection drops much more often than before.

Feb 26, 2012 9:16 AM in response to WifiDropperby Cambo III,Mine, too. I knew they'd fix it sooner or later. Must've been a tough one for it to have taken this long.
Cheers,

Feb 26, 2012 11:15 AM in response to WifiDropperby goatcabin,The update did not fix my problem, which is of the more serious variety; my WiFi only stays connected for a couple of minutes. It THINKS it's still connected, but you cannot get anywhere. Pings time out for a while, then one hangs -- forever.
Sigh,
