Let me say my temporary solutions:
- PRAM reset
- SystemConfig deleted
- duplicate keys in Keychain deleted
- Switched among wifi channels
- Ipv6 "only local link"
- and....A CLEAR INSTALATION OF LION!
In a day my connection go down 5-6 times (in a 4-5 hours).

Aug 27, 2011 6:24 AM in response to Link48010by bobjorg,I may have fixed this by going into Network in System Preferences, under Wi-Fi, click Advanced, and remove all prefered networks and then reconnect to your desired Wi-Fi. I have not had it drop yet, I will keep you posted.
This was the first thing that worked for me. Wifi now comes up every time through Sleep, Restart, Shutdown.

Aug 27, 2011 10:19 AM in response to lhaleby NateKH,I've had this problem as well, on my 27 iMac with lion preinstalled. Was on the phone yesterday with apple care (3 different calls) for about two hours, we did the whole gambit of trouble shooting solutions, PRAM reset, deleted System configs, changed DNS, cycle router and modem all with no effect. So, I think were going to have to wait for a software update. I've resorted to using the ethernet port hardline with no problems for the last 24 hours or so.

Aug 28, 2011 7:11 AM in response to lhaleby acseven,I have a macbook (late 2008) that has a broken internal bluetooth module, so I use a third party usb stick for bluetooth.
My wireless card was having a hard time with DNS resolution and wifi access in general.
Disconnecting this usb stick, allows connecting back to my wireless network. After that I reconnect it and everything works fine.

Aug 28, 2011 8:23 AM in response to lhaleby Wouto82,I also had problems with my Imac I3 2010 since updating to Lion, never before. I was pulling out my hair from frustation. I have tried to reset SMC reset PRAM and reset my router (DLink dir-615). This seemed to do the job, but somehow only until I switched it off and on again.. Now I have fixed my IP and that seems to have solved this!!
Go to Network preferences click on WIFI on the left side. Make sure the right WIFI network is shown and click on advanced...
Then at TCP/IP at "configure IPv4" first copy the "IPv4 address". Then select "Using DHCP with manual address" and paste your address in the "IPv4 address"
I hope this will help some more people.. Good luck!
PS Here I was telling everyone how great apple is and how it never fails...

Aug 28, 2011 10:03 AM in response to Wouto82by Wouto82,Hmm my Imac works just fine now, but our iphones don't.... I think you need to give every device a static IP for it to work... Which is not ideal as well.. I am looking for another solution now...

Aug 28, 2011 10:32 AM in response to lhaleby mampo,HI Ihale,
thank you for raising this issue.
Me too!
Current MBP, pre-installed with Lion.
Constant slow-downs, drop outs with Wifi.
All the other clients on the net do not have this (Laptop with Windows XP, ipod touch, old MBP with OS X 10.6).
I hope Apple can fix this.
All the best
Martin

Aug 28, 2011 11:17 AM in response to mampoby Wouto82,for everyone, google : ping `route get default | awk '(/gateway/){print $2}'` and you'll find all you need prob..
it basically tells you to put it in terminal and keep it running.. as long as this is running you shouldn't have any problems.. Now just waiting until the almighty apple releases a fix....

Aug 28, 2011 12:58 PM in response to lhaleby Mike2112,
So my wifi has fallen off the face of the earth recently, When I had SL there wasnt a problem. Three weeks with Lion, one little problem and a call to Apple had a temp fix. Now this weekend I cannot get wifi to work to save my life, I moved my Imac to a different wall, about five feet closer to the router and really???? I havent had a drop all morning,(as I am knocking on a wooden desk!!!) I tried putting the Mac back where it was. After powering down, moving it literally five feet and seeing if it would fire back up, and guess what???? No wifi. My prefered network will not even be noticed for almost six minutes. I am on a different channel than the people below me. So I guess I will have to re arrange the entire living room just to have wifi. Unreal.
Also, I read early in this thread about the RSSI values.... I think mine is too low????

Aug 29, 2011 9:58 PM in response to lhaleby MacMyDays,There's no question that this is a major issue and not an isolated incident. My mid - 2011 i7 27" iMac constantly dropping wifi. Problem is nastier when I'm using Apple TV 2.0 to connect and stream music. So even when I'm not working on my iMac, I'm still faling prey to the nasty dropping WiFi issue as music just stops. Only solution? Turn WiFi off, then back on. Then I'm back for an hour or two until the issue repeats.
I've not called Apple Care but have changed DNS, PRAM, router/modem restarts and clearing all networks, destorying prefs and then some....
Yes. Before and after 10.7.1
BTW the phone and my MacBook Pro 2008 (w/Lion) have no problem with my WiFi network

Aug 29, 2011 10:24 PM in response to lhaleby KRDHarris,Just to add one more to the list of Apple users experiencing Wi-Fi drop-offs after installing Lion, since I have seen no sign of Apple acknowledging this problem.
I am experiencing drop-offs from my main wireless device, an Airport Extreme v 5.7, and my WDS Airport Express v 6.3 keeps dropping off the WDS, even though it happily shows a green light.
I am using a mid-2010 i7 iMac with Mac OS X 10.7.1.
The only reliable workaround I have found is to restart the Airport Extreme and Express.

Aug 30, 2011 12:22 AM in response to Mike2112by William Kucharski,Also, I read early in this thread about the RSSI values.... I think mine is too low????
No, your RSSI value is spectacular (the closer to zero the value, the stronger your signal, so -18 is wonderful, I've currently got -55 on my MBP and it connects just fine.)
However… RSSI is merely a report of signal strength but not of quality.
If there's some device nearby interfering with your signal (microwave oven, baby monitor, Bluetooth devices, etc.) you can have a strong signal but still have difficulty communicating.
