In Finder, when I select "All My Files" on the left bar, no files are shown. Of course I have several files in my home folder (docs, images, pdf).

I found "Macintosh HD" in Privacy settings of Spotlight.
I don't remember having done but....that was the cause.

Still have this problem. No spotlight privacy settings. Is it only pointing at Documents folder?
"All My Files" points to your home folder
Just drag Macintosh HD into finder.
I'm having this problem. When I click "All My Files" in Finder, it doesn't show any files, it is completely blank. This happened after I went through a procedure to rename my account name - which involves renaming my home folder. I don't think my "All My Files" is pointing to my home folder now - how do I check what it is pointing to? thanks
