In launchpad I created some App Folders but I want to change the name to make them more specific. I tried to to in the same way as in iOS but it does not seem to work the say way in OSX. Does anyone know if it is possible?

Click on a folder to expand it. Then click on the name and begin typing.

I had this same problem with re-naming folders in Launchpad, and restarting fixed it. After the restart however, the keyboard shortcut I had assigned to Launchpad no longer works - it has reverted to it's default behavior of opening Mission control.
I've tried doing that both while edit mode was on as well as just expanding it and clicking the name. neither seems to change the folder name.
Just enter the folder that you want to rename, then double click the name to make it editable.
Not working for me either. Could it be a little bug?
Yep, I'm having the same problem. Double clicking on the folder name does nothing for me.

I´ve repaired permissions and solved the problem. Although when I enter the "delete" state (the shaky icons) there are many that shows no "x" to apply the deletion. Any ideas why?
The "x" is just shown to App you purchased from the App Store. Everything else is deleted in the Finder as in Snow Leopard.
I can confirm, if you restart your Mac you should then be able to change the folder names in LaunchPad. Just did it, and it work's now!
