NTFS drive does not mount under Lion.

I have just upgraded to Lion. Previously I could mount my NTFS formatted drives. Now I cannot mount any. Disk utility sees the drives but will not mount them. When I revert to 10.6.8, the problems disappear. If there a fix of technique in LION to enable NTFS drives to mount?

First go to Apple logo on the top of the corner and clic "about this mac". then select "more info" and push the button "system report" . Then select the seccion "USB" to see where the usb hdd. like this:User uploaded file

we nee the BSD, in this case my usb hdd is disk1s1

we open Terminal and we type the following:

sudo mkdir /Volumes/usb1

it will ask for your password. then we type the following:

sudo mount -t ntfs /dev/disk1s1 /Volumes/usb1/

and you will see on your desktop the usb hdd mounted. I hope it will help temporary.

Unfortunately, same problem here.

I have one iMac (27', late 2009, 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB), one Macbook Air (11', late 2010, 1.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB), and two 1TB external drives formatted as Windows NT.

After upgrading both Macs' OS to Lion successfully, the two external drives cannot be mounted onto the iMac, while working fine on the Macbook Air. In the Disk Utility of the iMac, both two external drives can be still observed.

I have tried to reset the PRAM and SMC, but no luck so far.

The only difference when upgrading OS is that when the iMac was being upgraded, one of the external drive was connected.

I also tried Marco.Cantu.Gea's method, and it works. I am going to call Apple to see if they are aware of this issue.

Good luck everyone.
