Mission Control Questions and problematics!!

Hi all,

How do I Rearrange SPACES & Fullscreen apps in Mission Control?!

The only possible setting is in System Pref -> Mission Control -> Automatically rearrange spaces based on most recent use.

Fair enough..... But I want them to be arranged the way I WANT!! No possibility to drag/move/drop anywhere I'm afraid......?!

Have any solution?

That's a pitty!!

Missing already Spaces and Exposee ;(

In order to move some app from a space to another, you first have to go to that space, then open Mission Control and slide it to another space.

No possibility to directly slide an app from any Space to another, without the need to first go to the Space you have the app you want to move as with previous SPACES!!!!

So much time consuming!!

Please comment/advice/help....

First time apple disappoints that much ;(

Thanx,

Alex

I see Im not the only person finding the new Mission Control feature limited. Unfortunately at this stage Spaces and Fullscreen apps cannot be rearranged or exited by simply hovering over a space where one would expect an X button appear to quickly close it.

The more people complain about the MIssion Control limitations the faster Apple will attend to fixing it.

For now we are stuck with one too many clicks to get simple things done!

Tottally agree Daniel!

Say you're in Mission control and you want to delete a FullScreen Safari directly from there!

NOT POSSIBLE!

Need from Mission Control to click on the Fullscreen Safari, then:

1. Click Safari tab then Quit Safari.

or

2. Go up, minimize it, then red button....

OSX used to be intuitive with quick/direct functionalities... Now it's a change for worst! ;(

Apple please do hear us and change THAT!!

I find myself stuck with limitations as for iOS!!!! Hope we won't need to Jailbreak our Macs to be free of actions!!

Good article.

However, at the very end the writer says, "For the first time, I'm using Spaces." Having never used Spaces before, he has no clue regarding the complaints here about Mission Control. Those of us who have used and loved Spaces before find Mission Control a major step backwards. Let Apple know how you feel at:

I totally agree with what was said here. The mission control is a major step back compared to the couple expose+spaces. Mission control is much less efficient in switching between windows. I have usually many plots open from Matlab and these are now on one pile in the mission control and I cannot quickly switch between them and other applications such as Word.

I'm very unhappy about this as it affects greatly my efficiency of my work. Also the fact that I cannot anymore move or rearrange windows in the Spaces overview is very annoying.
