How long does it take to get our Lion code (from up-to-date program) ?

Just bought my iMac 2 weeks ago and tried all day to get the up-to-date Lion program.... With a lot of errors, mistakes and server down..... I know there's a lot of post about that.

In the middle of the afternoon, i was able to get the claim and got an email with my claim reference number.

My question.... how long will it take before to get my Lion app code from the up-to-date program ???

If you have a redeemable coupon then use it through the App Store application in order to download Lion. If you don't yet have the coupon then you will have to wait until one is sent to you.

Yes i know... it's what i was asking... how long should it take ??? alot said it's quick.... but nothing from Apple yet 😟

The Terms and conditions located here reads:

Upon receipt of your completed order form and proof of purchase, a content code for OS X Lion, redeemable on the Mac App Store, will be emailed within 24 hours of order qualification.

I have the same question. After many failed attempts I succesfully managed to complete all the steps and got my "your application has been received and it's being processed" e-mail.

How long should it take for me to get the download code?

Take into account that I sent all the info from Argentina (South America), maybe it takes longer if it's not received from the US?

I got my reference number within an hour of Lion's release, and yet I haven't got my redemption code. 24 hours sound alright, but like all of you I'm excited to start the download no matter how long it takes to complete.

I got my reference number at around half two, I still havent recieved any further emails, I guess I willhave to wait for a bit longer but I thought it would be instantaneous. Oh well, I dont mind.

i just call the apple store 800 number and they tald me "if you made the submit with out credit car it may take 3 days to recive the code"

***?????? i got it free as i brought between the 16th and 20th so i applied for it. therefore there are no credit cards or exchange of money ?? yet i have the reference like everyone else but no app code 😟 x

Yes I did spend alot of time on the phone too this am....

While there's no order in the orders process.... GRRRRR.... They told me, it can take up to 48h... they saw my order and suggest me to wait... but if nothing tonight, to call back tomorrow am... and they would check and act.

Find it a little annoying since it's apple system who didnt work proprely and we have to pay for it with more waiting. And i told the 800 guy on the phone, it's was not fair since some are doing the request tonigh and got the code right away.... and not me, even if i bought my mac on the apple store...

Oh well... more waiting i guess...
