Aug 15, 2011 11:55 AM in response to lrogersinlvby bobsled,Add my name to list of very upset Apple users. Wi-fi drop out problems every minute no matter what fix I've tried. Impossible to work at all. This is an Apple problem and a very basic and bad one. I have two Apple wireless networks and both behave the same. Badly. I've never seen so many posts on one issue with an Apple product before. An update is over due and really an arrogant move by Apple to wait so long to fix this problem. Really pee'ed off with Lion's basic faults and the lack of action by Apple to fix them. Feels like a rush job to me.
I know this forum is not meant for complaining, but where else can I vent my spleen other that send Steve Jobs an email. Long time Apple user and very disapointed.

Aug 15, 2011 1:00 PM in response to Kotikby maayank,Well, for whatever its worth, I didn't have duplicate entries in the keychain.

Aug 15, 2011 1:21 PM in response to Kotikby whyamac,I didn't have any Keychain issues, I have also tried some of the "fixes" suggested but none have worked. I downloaded OSX Lion last Saturday and this problem has only occured since the download. I get no WiFi connection after lifting the lid and coming out of sleep mode. My Airport express for iTunes to stereo is not experiencing a problem. For me I need to, "Turn WiFi Off" then "Turn WiFi On" to get a connection. Why hasn't Apple fixed this yet??

Aug 15, 2011 1:32 PM in response to whyamacby putnik,I use the automation script in OnyX which checks permissions, runs maintenance scripts, clears and refreshes various caches etc. It has helped me with wifi issues in the past, but of course, no guarantee comes with this recommendation.

Aug 15, 2011 1:37 PM in response to whyamacby whyamac,I just got off the phone with Apple support. Apple is aware of this issue and working on an upgrade to fix. FYI

Aug 15, 2011 4:39 PM in response to whyamacby Chris-King,I logged a ticket with Apple to regarding this and have had several chats, calls and submitted a capture log which has been passed onto Apple developers/engineers etc.
I was advised that usually (note: usually) an update or new fix is released 30 days after the initial launch, so hopefully 10.7.1 should be out in the next few weeks. (No guarantee on that date). I was advised logging a ticket with them is the best thing to do so they are aware of issues and each individual users case.
