Only Apple apps appear in Launchpad. The Apps I previously purchased thru the App Store do not appear in Launchpad, nor do non-Apple apps like Word, Excel etc. How do I get all or some of my Apps to appear in Launchpad?

This is not the case with my Powerbook (although it is the case with my iMac). There is only one page of Launchpad on the Powerbook, and two-thirds of the apps in Finder do not appear there.
It is the same as the iPhone and iPad. Apple puts its apps on the first page of launchpad and then other apps on the second page. You can drag and move them around the same way as on the mobile devices.
