Logitech Scroll Wheel Backward On Lion

Hey, all,

I upgraded to Lion today, and then I updated Logitech's Control Center to 3.4.0.

My Performance MX Mouse's scrollwheel now scrolls......backwards. I have sent Logitech a message and I'm posting this here in case anybody else has this happen so they don't think that they are crazy.

You can fix this by going to the Mouse control panel, and unchecking the "Move Content In The Direction Of Finger Movement When Scrolling Or Navigating"

There is an option in the "stock" mouse preference pane to reverse scroll direction. Does that work or does LCC provide similar?

Same here with an older Logitech MX310 mouse.

it is normal, apple calls it "natural scrolling" this comes from the ipad and iphone

it actually works better once you get used to it

if you want to de-actify this go to system preferences>mouse> and unclick scroll direction natural

The button is "move content in direction finger movement . . ."

Actually, when this is enabled, and you scroll your finger down, the window scrolls up, so I'm not sure why Apple calls this "natural."

Perhaps Apple could have put a big red screen up for folks upgrading that says "Warning: your scrolling device will operate backward...here's how to fix it." Or better yet, like the Microsoft paperclip: "I notice you're trying to scroll in the wrong direction! Would you like me to fix that for you?" Thanks for this post...helped me keep my sanity.
