I recently got a charge for $30 today and I don't know why? Could my daughter have selected a free i touch game which really wasn't free?

Recently got a charge for $30 from itunes store? Is it possible that my daughter bought a free game for her itouch which really wasn't free??

You should soon receive an itemised email receipt. As for free apps, some have in-app purchases, which made the news a few months ago when kids innocently spent thousands of their parents' dollars on Smurfberries and the like.

The way to avoid that is to set up Parental Controls: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4213

Hi Colleen: If an App is indicated to be free, it will be. However, and it is big however. It is possible to purchase items from within an App. Unfortunately, this seems to be quite common in games geared towards kids.
