Safari Crashes AOL mail

Exactly the same thing has happened with my AOL account, which crashes Safari when I try to delete e-mail AND move SPAM to the SPAM folder. I've repaired permissions, but so far no improvement. I've been able to browse for hours with Safari otherwise. Help!

You are not alone. There are numerous threads & posts about this issue.
It seems the most recent Safari, and or 10.4.4, update has created this problem.
Apple & AOL are both aware of this, but no correction has been released, as far as I know.

Some alternatives:

Use the FIREFOX BROWSER, as shusu already does.
Use your AOL Mail program.
Use this utility AOL SERVICES UTILITY, to set up Apple Mail, to receive AOL Mail.

Hi Again!

Another alternative, that seems to work for some, is to access the AOL Mail thru Classic AOL Webmail.
