Hi, since purchasing my MacBook Pro in April i have never been able to get the App Store to work. I am now looking to upgrade to Lion but as i can't access it via the App Store has anyone got any ideas how i can purchase it. I presume in time it will be available from Amazon but i would prefer to get it sooner than that. Kind regards

It won't be available from Amazon anytime soon.
Install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Then restart your Mac.
Then click your Apple icon top left in your screen then click App Store.
it will only be distributed by Apple. Definately not on Amazon.
Now it is on the AppStore and in August it is said that you can buy usb drives from Apple retail ( at a higher cost then the download option ) .
You should sort out the issues with the AppStore.Really.
It was announced today that Apple will sell it via a $69 USB flash drive in August if you want to wait for that; I don't believe Amazon will be an option. There was no mention if Snow Leopard would be required if using a flash drive.
