Blank pages in LION upgrade. Firefox, finder ICON view etc.

Installed Lion over Snow Leopard. Macbook Pro 15" Core 2 Duo, 4gb Ram.

If I open Firefox 5 the page is blank (though the small preview shows the page ok)

Finder in ICON view is blank, change to list view and it is OK. Back to ICON view and blank again.

If I open the App store and view the Lion screen the description is OK but the details in the box are blank.

It's almost as though it is flash being blocked or something.

Also TIME MACHINE is showing a white screen with a finder window instead of the normal screen so I cannot even restore from a previous version.

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7)

just read that the issue might come from iPad/iPhone screen sharing programs like AirDisplay, iScreen, DisplayPad, etc. As I already tried the installation 3x I now wanted to wait for 10.7.1+++, but...

Anyone experienced that deinstalling these programs did help ?

Same here!! I'm completely stuck because I can't install the new version of XCode off the app store - the details section is completely blank. Any ideas??

I've also noticed that, in safari, many websites render for a split second, then the entire browser goes blank.

DisplayLink is what did it! I uninstalled the new beta lion drivers I installed and that fixed it all... thanks!!

OK, here are the first two steps to find a solution for your problem…

First, restart your Mac while holding the Shift key. Press the Shift key also after you entered your login and password.

Do you still have the same problem?

If yes then check this: Go to the "System preferences" and create a new User. Now login to that User and check again…
