Not if it got inside of the MBP. If you turn it on with water inside of it you may destroy it. Take it to an Apple store and have it cleaned. You will have to pay for the service since accidental damage is not covered by the warranty and the water may invalidate your warranty. Do not try to use a hair dryer to make the water evaporate.

If you don't want to do that you could open it completely, turn it upside down (screen and keyboard down) and place it on paper towels and let it sit for a week. The problem with this approach is there is no way to know when all of the water has drained or evaporated. If you have hard water the minerals left behind by evaporation could still be a problem.
