HP Director/Monitor software for iMac

Moving from a pc to an iMac, I cannot figure out how to work the scan function of my hp all-in-one printer scanner copier faxer thingy. The printing works just fine -- apparently the iMac knows what to do, has the software. But I had HP Director and HP Monitor at the base of my pc screen that activated the scanning option. How can I get what I need to work my all-in-one?
